Twis #6

This Week In Science we talked about what we would need to survive. Than we went to the things crickets will need to survive. I wrote that they would need plants, rocks, chirping and their mouths to survive. After we tested if crickets like the wet spot or the dry spot more. The crickets spent more time on the wet area than the dry so i wrote that they like the wet area`s better. Once we finished with the crickets we went to jelly beans. We made a dichotomous key to separate each jelly bean into one segment by asking questions like "Does it have spots?" and other related questions.

This Week In Science I learned that I wont need much to survive and that crickets are not that much of a difference then us. I learned that crickets will rather prefer the wet area than the dry lands. After I learned that you can separate almost anything like jelly beans and their flavor. I did not learn anything else this week in science.

Twis #5

This week in science we worked in groups for the rocket project and we finished everything we missed from last class. We saw varieties of animal behavioral videos and than we examined on crickets. I drew a picture of a cricket from front view and side view and I also labeled the body parts of the cricket. One of the videos we saw was one of a cat barking like a dog. I found it amusing and very interesting.

What I learned this week in science was that Larva eggs can grow on your back which is very disgusting but interesting. I also learned that animals behaviors are all somewhat different from each other but all of them are interesting and new to me. Crickets are annoying with the noises and are very disturbing to look at up close. They eat apples and for some reason i saw a cricket eating another cricket. The last thing i learned this week was that animals all have different unique behaviors and are all different from one another.

(This Video Shows A Car Barking Like A Dog. I Chose This Video Because It Was Very Interesting Behavior To Me.)

This Week In Science We Worked As A Group And My Part Was To Do The Results And A Illustration Of The Cup Set-Up. I Did A Creative Illustration Of The Cup Set-Up And Labeled The Cups. After I Made The Results/ Data Table Of The Cups And How Much Did It Grow From Day To Day. After The Data Table Recorded My Work And Worked Itself.

This Week In Science I Learned That Working In Groups Can Help Me Work Harder And Work Better As A TeamWork. I Also Work Very Faster When Im Not Working Alone. I Got Most Of My Work Done This Week So I Learned Alot This Week In Science.

This Week In Science #3

This week in science we learned more about independent and dependent variables and how we can make questions out of them. We also made a plant for our group and measured it to see how big it got. We then made a testable question for our plant and a hypothesis. Afterwards we saw jamie making peanut butter and jelly and telling us to explain to her the steps of making it. We made a procedure for our plants after we finished with the peanut butter and jelly. When we finished with all that we drew a picture of how our plants look like.

In Science we made plants and made a testable questions for them. After we made a independent and dependent question for it and after we made a hypothesis for the testable questions. We went with jamie in a room and we started to give her steps to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and after we took the quiz about what we learned.

This Week In Science #2

This week in science we played with poppers and found out which ones jump higher and which jump seconds later. We also made our blog video. I had to take lots of retakes from the noise in the background but i got it done afterwards. They also taught us about independant and dependant variables and we also edited our blog profile.

This week in science I learned about how the bigger poppers pop faster and higher then the little poppers which pop slower and lower. I also learned about how difficult it is making a blog video when your friend is trying to make you laugh but got it finished afterwards. I finished off my week by finishing making my blog profile and finishing this paragraph on my week in science.
